The Sunday finale of GCE Heritage Live is a London exclusive – legendary tenor José Carreras. The show will be extra special as José Carreras says goodbye to London as part of his farewell tour. Alongside a discography that includes over 160 recordings across classical and popular music, several Gold and Platinum discs with over 80 million records sold in total, Carreras is one of the most accomplished tenors in history.
6pm Gates open
7pm Sheku Kanneh-Mason accompanied by the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra, performing the 4th Movement of Elgar’s Cello Concerto, as well as some well-known popular classics from his Number One Album.
7:30pm-9:30pm Jose Carreras in his final UK performance, performing a repertoire of opera classics, accompanied by the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra conducted by David Gimenez and featuring the critically acclaimed coloratura-soprano Chrissy Johnston

This concert is part of the Heritage Live Concert Series that will take place at Kenwood across the weekend of the 14 -16 June.
