NORTH ROAD AND NORTH HILL ~

Entered opposite The GateHouse, North Road contains a vast array of interesting dwelling places.

Some are detailed on separate pages but those included here are:

1-11, North Road, a terrace of grey brick houses built about  1860.

19, The Sycamores, 17th to 18th century, with a nice looking monumental entrance door.

27 and 29, where the ground floor frontages are built entirely in wood.

31 was formerly a car show room (next to The Bell and Horns)

37-43, Ashburton Cottages (1870s houses with mock classical columns)

Morven House, 8 North Hill (quite neglected now as a probable result of Haringey Council utilizing it for young miscreants!)
