LIME AVENUE (Boundary Path)

is a very pretty avenue, stretching from the East Heath Road entrance by The Pryors and through to the edge of East Heath.

The Avenue continues just past The Sports Ground.

It then continues as a pathway, beyond Lime Avenue, and extends around the edges of most of the Highgate Ponds and into the sports area in Parliament Hill Fields (Dukes Field side).

This Lime Avenue is not to be confused with the Lime Avenue at Kenwood.

This old photo is called "The Avenue" but it MAY refer to the old Fir Tree Avenue on West Heath.

Anybody know?
