Kite flying was a national sport long before football, cricket or excessive public boozing.
Parliament Hill, one of the highest points on north London's Hampstead Heath, offers unbeatable views of the city.

It is the ideal climate for kite flying  – blustery and unpredictable, a fantastic challenge for a novice flyer or the more seasoned pro.

Great for families to go and watch the one-liners at the top of Parliament Hill, but if you need room to fly some stunts then go down the hill towards the swimming pool and race track where you will find a large open area.
