Hampstead Way Area - HAMPSTEAD HEATH 2011

This fairly open area at the very beginning of The Heath Extension contains The Walter Field Memorial Fountain.

The author has discovered that it is quite likely that The Heath Keeper's Cottage stood by the side of this fountain at the turn of the twentieth century.

The fountain looks very similar to the Field Fountain, although unworn by time, and the area retains the same level landscape.
