A County map, drawn up by Lieutenant Robert Kearsley Dawson of the Royal Engineers, and  published for the Boundaries Commission 1832 .
The map bears Dawson's  facsimile signature. The country was surveyed by the commision in support of the 1832 reform bill - a major shake up of the nation's parliamentary representation.
Areas included on the map are, Harrow on the Hill, Staines, Enfield, Hammersmith  to name but a few.
